The following article was recommended by the Community Preservation Committee and approved by the Voters at the annual town meeting on May 7th, 2007:
 

Article 20: Town Hall Chimney
To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds the sum of $25,000 for the repair of one of the chimneys at Town Hall, or take any other action in relation thereto.

The actual Motion for this was to appropriate the funding from the Community Preservation Undesignated funds, as the source for this Historic purpose.
