If you have a project or idea that you'd like to suggest to the committee, we'd like to hear about it.

Here's how you can tell us what your idea is. We have a form that you can download and mail to:

GEORGETOWN COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Memorial Town Hall
One Library Street
Georgetown, MA 01833

Or if you would prefer to email the completed form send it to both email addresses below:

HLaCortiglia@georgetownma.gov

and

PBurns@georgetownma.gov

This suggestion form is the best way for us to determine if the project meets the strict guidlines of the Community Preservation Act with respect to eligiblity.

The committee usually begins taking suggestions and project requests in September or October of each year.
If you would like your project proposal to be brought before the voters at the next Annual Town Meeting (in the Spring) you need to submit your suggestion to the committee BEFORE November 30th.

Project suggestions received after that date cannot be brought to the Spring Meeting by the committee due to the lenghly process and amount of work necessary to create and finalize the CPC Warrant Articles.

(We don't have any paid staff and we're all volunteers... so please file your submissions early so that we have time before the warrant articles need to be written)

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact any of the committee members
